Kawaii style background...maybe?

The funniest thing I've experienced during devving a rhythmgame is that as I hear a song, which would make a nice beatmap, I almost instantly feel how the visuals should look like. On thursday this week youtube recommended a remix of "Fukkireta" (popular Japanese Meme video), and my brain went: "oh hey, I wonder if ZakZakNeko is even playable for a BPM that high (=165)". Fast forward to friday evening and the beatmap is almost there. For the fun of it, I decided to make a mock-up of how the visuals -should- be, and the result is down below. Must be the cutest pixels I've pixeled =) Feels kind of Kirbyish. I wonder if such a BG animated would serve well some chiptunes...
